Batting first, MI lost 2 quick wickets for 15 runs DC pacer Marizanne Kapp. Orange cap holder Nat Sciver Brunt (30) & MI skipper Harmanpreet Kaur (66) notched up 89 runs partnership.
Kaur carried on her exploits till 18th over scoring 66(44), including 2 sixes and 9 boundaries. MI ended the innings on 149-7 (20).
