Kolkata : English legend Harry Kane has congratulated Virat Kohli on much awaited IPL win after 18 years of penance.
RCB defeated PBKS by 6 runs in IPL 2025 final on June 3, 2025 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, bringing in maiden Trophy. Kohli was seen emotional after adding the mission piece in his decorated cabinet.
English legend Harry Kane, a long term friend of Kohli took to social media to congratulate him.

“One from the archives to say a massive congrats to Virat Kohli and Royal Challengers Bengaluru on a first IPL title!! Unreal achievement,” he posted on Instagram.
It is interesting to note that Kane, a legendary figure in world Football also remained trophyless until 2025, where he won his first major trophy – Bundesliga with German giants Bayern Munich. He remained pivotal in the win, finishing as leading goal scorer for the club.
Both the legends proved themselves and won the respective trophies that they struggled for over years.
