Ole had been sitting on the hotseat for quite sometime time now, following back to back disastrous performances in the League despite having a deep squad depth along with talismanic Cristiano Ronaldo.
From 5-0 loss against Liverpool, to 2-0 loss against Manchester City and finally the loss against Watford was enough for the board to consider alternate options.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the club is however working out on a ‘mutual agreement’ with the Norwegian along with the compensation to terminate Ole’s contract.Darren Fletcher and Michael Carrick have emerged as the potential interim candidates. Although an official statement from the club is still awaited.
