Birmingham : India defeated England by 336 runs at Edgbaston, Birmingham in 2nd Test, Day 5 of Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy. This is the first time that India won a Test match at the venue since 1967 , when India played first Test there.

England ended Day 4 on 72-3 with Ollie Pope and Harry Brook at crease.
Akash Deep removed Both Pope (24) and Brook (23) in consecutive overs to start the day on sweet note for India.
After 70 runs partnership between skipper Ben Stokes (33) and Jamie Smith (88), Washington Sundar trapped Stokes LBW just before the lunch. Akash Deep also completed his maiden test fifer picking the wicket of set and in form Jamie Smith.
Despite great resistance shown by Brydon Carse (38) at the end, Akash Deep dismissed Carse to pick his 6th prey as the last english wicket fell, handing famous and historic win to India. The 336 runs margin is India’s biggest win away from home in Test Cricket.
Shubman Gill was awarded Man of the Match.
