KKR opting to Bat first lost Gurbaz (11) in 2nd over on 11 runs.

Dewald Brevis (52) & Shivam Dube (45) saved collapse and notched up vital 67 runs partnership. Brevis shifted momentum towards CSK smashing 30 runs in Vaibhav Arora’s over.
After Brevis’ dismissal on 127, Dube and MS Dhoni (17*) took the game deep, before Dube getting dismissed on 170 (18.4), after 43 runs partnership with Dhoni. Noor’s wicket followed soon.
With 8 runs required off last over bowled by Russell, Dhoni smashed his old school style six over deep mid wicket off the first ball. Kamboj hit winning boundary in 4th Ball, thereby winning the match against KKR.
