Adelaide : Australia had upper hand against India at Adelaide on Day 1 of 2nd Test (Border Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25) owing to Mitchell Starc’s 6/48.
Starc picked Yashasvi Jaiswal’s wicket in very first Ball of the match. KL Rahul (37) & Shubman Gill (31) formed 69 runs partnership.
However, Indian Batting began to collapse after the duo’s dismissal soon after in front of Starc. Nitish Reddy (42) tried hard to take India to fighting total but could only manage Indian score to 180 in lone battle down the order.
