Kolkata : Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti last week named a strong squad for the three international friendlies — two against Australia and one against India — to be played between September 25 and October 3.

Brazil’s attacking duo of Vinicius Junior and Endrick may fly back to Madrid within hours of the international friendly against India.

Real Madrid, the club they play for, are mulling over sending a chartered flight to Calcutta and airlift them back to Spain’s captial, within hours after the match ends, an All India Football Federation official told The Telegraph on Monday. “It’s something they (Madrid) are planning and it’s at a very nascent stage,” the official said.

Madrid is four and half hours behind Calcutta. “The idea is that Vinicius and Endrick start their recovery process in Madrid from October 4 itself. This also shows how professionally these clubs work,” the official said.

Madrid, coached by Jose Mourinho, play Villarreal at home (the Bernabeu) on October 10.

Apart from the two Madrid stars, Raphinha of Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain’s Marquinhos, Gabriel Magalhaes (Arsenal) and Joao Pedro (Chelsea) are in the 26-member squad.

Madrid captain Federico Valverde will also play at Salt Lake Stadium on October 6 when Uruguay take on India in another international friendly on October 6.

The Uruguayan contingent is expected to leave the city hours after the match.
