Kolkata: Mohammedan Sporting Club played out a 1–1 draw against Police AC at the Mohammedan Sporting Ground today.
The rescheduled fixture, which was originally scheduled to be played earlier but was called off due to inclement weather conditions, was completed today at the Club Ground.
In first half’s 16th minute, Faisal Ali gave Police AC an early lead. Lalremsanga scored the only goal for Mohammedan Sporting Club in 2nd half’s 57th minute. Despite efforts from both teams to find a winner, neither side could break the deadlock in the remainder of the match.
The full-time result was Mohammedan Sporting Club 1–1 Police AC, with Lalremsanga scoring the lone goal for Mohammedan Sporting Club.
The team will now look ahead to its upcoming fixtures as the CFL campaign continues.
