Kolkata – Shrachi Rarh Tigers defeated Sobisco Smashers Malda by 1 wicket at JU Campus in Bengal Women’s T20 League 2026.
Malda posted 127/7 (20) Batting first with help of efficient partnership between Mamata Kisku (60) and Parama Mandal (20) depsite constant loss of wickets. Rupal Tiwari from Tigers bagged 3 wickets while Bidisha Dey picked 2.
Chasing 128, apart from Bristi Maji (38), rest of the top order failed and were reduced to 76-6 (12).
However, 49 runs stand between captain Piyali Ghosh (28) and Rupal Tiwari (29) made a dramatic turn in the game. In 18th over both were dismissed. With 1 wicket in hand, Mamani Roy (8*) struck the winning runs in last over to seal the win for Tigers.
