Kolkata: Sobisco Smashers Malda defeated Adamas Howrah Warriors by 8 wickets in Bengal T20 League 2026.
Malda bowling first, bundled Howrah on 132 (20). Only Shashank Singh (60) scored a magnificent half century, where rest of the Batting failed. For Malda, Suraj Sindhu Jaiswal (4/18) and captain Mukesh Kumar (3/22) were pick of bowlers who destroyed entire Batting order. Akhil also grabbed 2 wickets.
Chasing 136, Akhil (41) and Abhimanyu Easwaran (58*) put up 71 runs opening stand. Despite loss of 2 wickets, Easwaran’s unbeaten half century and Ranjot Singh Khaira (21*) helped Malda ease past the target in 13.4 overs.
