Kolkata : The ‘Mini Derby’ ISL 2026 clash of East Bengal and Mohammedan SC which was supposed to take place on March 21 , Saturday, 5:00 PM, at Yuva Bharati Kriangan, Kolkata, has been postponed.
The very date coincides with Eid-ul-Fitr, as a result, Mohammedan players and staffs would be on leave for celebrations with family members.
Now, the match, which was supposed to be on 21st March, has been postponed to 23rd March, 7:30 PM at same venue – Yuva Bharati Kriangan.
East Bengal had a rollercoaster ISL campaign. Initially starting with 2 wins in 2 games, they lost their track, and could not manage a single win in last 3 games, sitting at number 5 in Points table.
On other hand, Mohammedan, with no overseas players, are winless, losing all 4 matches, and are yet to earn a single point. They sit at bottom of points table.
