London : Indian Batters put up mammoth target for England on Day 3 of 5th Test at Kennington Oval, London.
Yashasvi Jaiswal (118) & nightwatchman Akash Deep (66) notched up 107 runs partnership. While Akash Deep completed his maiden Test hundred, Jaiswal smashed his 6th Test ton, 2nd of the series.
After Akash Deep’s dismissal, Karun Nair (17) shortly accompany Jaiswal. Later in the innings Ravindra Jadeja (53) also scored his half century. Washington Sundar (53) Batting with tail enders and 1 wicket remaining, also smashed quick fire half century to put India’s total to 396 and setting 374 runs target for England.
English openers Ben Duckett (34*) and Zak Crawley (14) put up 50 runs stand but by the end of day, Md Siraj clean bowled Crawley, ending on good note for India. England still require 324 runs with 9 wickets remaining.
