Birmingham : Indian Skipper Shubman Gill starred with yet another hundred as India set huge 608 runs target for England to chase, on Day 4 of 2nd Test of Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy at Edgbaston, Birmingham.

India finished Day 3 on 64-1, with KL Rahul and Karun Nair at crease.

Nair (26) took an aggressive mode smashing boundaries but got dismisses to Brydon Carse for 2nd time in the match.

KL Rahul (55) went on to score half century before getting bowled to Josh Tongue on 126.

Shubman Gill (161) notched centurion partnerships Rishabh Pant (65) and Ravindra Jadeja (69*).

He played an aggressive knock of 161(162) including 8 sixes and 13 boundaries, before getting dismissed on 411. At 427-6, India declared their innings, setting huge 608 runs target for England.

Coming to bowl, Md Siraj gave opening breakthrough taking wicket of Zak Crawley (0). Akash Deep ripped through Ben Duckett (25) and Joe Root (6), hitting timbers with unplayable in swingers, as England ended Day 4 on 72-3. Ollie Pope (24*) and Harry Brook (15*) are still at crease with England requiring 536 runs to win, while India would want to take remaining 7 wickets quickly on Day 5.
