Batting first, heroic half century of Arindam Ghosh (55) remained pivotal point of the innings. The knock of 55 (44) included 3 boundaries.
Pramod Chandila (23), Shakir Gandhi (30), Aditya Purohit (26) also added vital runs along with Arindam, as a result, Howrah posted total of 156/7 (20).
Chasing 157 runs, Ayush Kumar Singh (70), Karan Lal (30) smashed 76 runs opening stand in 10.4 overs, before Karan got out. Despite loss of wickets from other end, Ayush continued the desperate fight for win.
