PBKS Batting first lost early wicket of Priyansh Arya for 2 runs. Josh Inglis (30) played quick fire knock before getting dismissed on 50 runs within power play.
Prabhsimran Singh (91) notched up 78(47) runs partnership with skipper Shreyas Iyer (45).
He continued his heroics with knock of 91(40) including 7 sixes and 6 boundaries, after being dropped by Nicholas Pooran on 21. The innings was later well ended by Shashank Singh (33*) & Marcus Stoinis (15*) as PBKS ended on mammoth 236-5 (20).
Chasing 237, LSG didn’t response well as they’re reduced to 73-5 (9.5), with Arshdeep Singh taking 3 wickets, including those of Aiden Markram, Mitchell Marsh & Nicholas Pooran, the main 3 pillars.
Ayush Badoni (74) & Abdul Samad (45) tried hard to get closer to the total but at the end LSG ended on 199-7 (20), losing by 37 runs.
