Royal Challengers Bengaluru breach Wankhede after 10 years

Mumbai : Royal Challengers Bengaluru defeated Mumbai Indians by 12 runs at Wankhede Stadium, a win at the venue after 12 years.

Batting first, RCB lost Phil Salt (4) early. Virat Kohli (67), Devdutt Padikkal (37), Rajat Patidar (64), and finishing by Jitesh Sharma (40*), helped RCB post massive score of 221-5 (20).

Chasing 222, MI lost 4 wickets for 99 in 12 overs.

MI skipper Hardik Pandya (42) & Tilak Verma (56) smashed RCB bowlers all over the park. However, both lost their wickets in 18-19th overs on 194 runs.

Defending 19 runs off final over, Krunal Pandya conceded only 6 runs taking 3 wickets. He ended on 4/45 as RCB clinched the match by 12 runs.

Patidar was adjourned man of the match for his heroics.
