Kolkata : West Indies announced ODI squad for 3 Match ODI Series against England starting from October 31. Prolific left hand Batter Shimron Hetmyer has made into the squad after 1 year.
Captained by Shai Hope, the team comprises youngest Batter Jewel Andrew, Keacy Carty, Hetmyer, power hitter Evin Lewis, Brandon King, Shrefane Rutherford.
All rounders like Romario Shepherd, Roston Chase form important part of both bowling and middle order Batting.
Pacers with likes of Shamar Joseph, Alzarri Joseph, Matthew Forde, Shepherd, Jayden Seales, along with strong spin department comprising left arm spinner Gudakesh Motie, leg spinner Hayden Walsh Jr, off spinner Chase, will be a threat to English bowling line up.
West Indies Men’s Head Coach Daren Sammy expressed his excitement about returning to action against England.
