Kolkata : Kenyan National Cricket Team appointed former Indian pacer Dodda Ganesh as their head coach.
Ganesh represented India during 1997 in 5 international runs, finishing with 29 runs and 6 wickets.
He was very successful domestic talent for Karnataka , with 493 wickets & 2548 runs to his name in 193 matches. Ganesh has lot’s of experience in coaching at various levels in India.
Ganesh upon being appointed as head coach said, “My first vision is to qualify for the World Cup. I’ve seen the dedication and hard work among the players. I’m not interested in the past, but I firmly believe that Kenyans possess the spirit of champions. I’ve been watching Kenyan cricket matches on YouTube, and I’m impressed with the talent I see. It’s evident that the players are in good shape.”
Inclusion of Ganesh in the coaching panel might be a new chapter to Kenyan Cricket to regain their lost heroics.
