Batting 1st , India had a horrible start scoring 48-5 in 9 overs.
A 54 runs partnership between Shubman Gill (39), Riyan Parag (26), & an ending cameo of Washington Sundar (25) took India to 137-9 (20).
Chasing 138 , Sri Lanka held commanding position with help of Kusal Perera (46), Kusal Mendis (43), Pathum Nissanka (26).
However, they repeated a same story like previous 2 T20Is, as they collapsed from 110-1 (15.1) to 137-8 (20).
Rinku Singh and Surya Kumar Yadav to everyone’s surprise defended 9 runs in 2 overs , conceding 8 runs, picking 4 wickets.
In Super Over, Washington Sundar took 2 wickets conceding 2 runs. India chased down the 3 runs total in 1st ball with help of Surya’s boundary, thereby, winning the match and series 3-0.
