KOLKATA: Through out some weeks there were such incidents With Indian defender Anwar Ali to join Eastbengal from mohunbagan super giants.
After a long tussle, the Indian Football Federation and PSC are finally coming to a decision. Mohun Bagan’s defender Anwar Ali has been in tension for several days in the transfer market, now it is about to end.

Anwar Ali had a loan contract with MohunBagan around 4yearsfrom his parent club Delhi FC.
However, there was speculation that Anwar wanted to leave the team due to lack of game time cause Durand cup and AFC are there .

AIFF clarified that Anwar Ali needs legal clearance from Mohun Bagan Super Giants to leave the club. FIFA’s one-year loan rule does not apply in his case. According to sources, this rule will come into effect for any contract after January 2024.

However, it is currently less rational. Anwar is a contracted footballer of Mohun Bagan till January, so he cannot leave the club as per the rules.
