Cairo: Tajamul Islam, a young Kashmiri girl, has earned the title of World Kickboxing Champion for the second time in Cairo, Egypt. Despite all odds, the 13-year-old has been boxing since the age of six. She last won the title in 2016.
The boxer cites winning gold in the World Kickboxing Championship for the second time as a proud achievement. She took to Twitter to announce her victory, tweeting,”It was really a proud moment for me when I get gold again in world kickboxing championship in Cairo, Egypt 2021 now I am 2 Times world kickboxing champion”.

Following the victory, Lt. Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, congratulated the young champion for her success and wished her the best for the future.
Tajamul also has her own sports academy in Bandipora, where she instructs hundreds of young female kickboxers. Tajamul has already won numerous medals in kickboxing tournaments at the district, state, national, and international levels in the sub-junior category.
She is now focusing on her next objective, which is to represent India at the Olympics and earn a gold medal in the under-18 category.
