Brasilia: Argentina would like to put a foot forward towards the Copa America 2021 quarterfinals when they face Paraguay in an exciting Group B encounter on Tuesday. Uruguay, who have lost their opener against Argentina will also aim to bring their track, back on winning ways against Chile.

Lionel Scaloni’s men would go all out as they hope to confirm their spot in the knockout stage. Argentina talisman Lionel Messi will lead the pack with help from Nicolas Gonzalez and Lautaro Martinez. The midfield unit is most likely to stay the same with Lo Celso, Rodrigo de Paul and Guido Rodriguez coming in for Leonardo Paredes.

At the back, Nicolas Otamendi will be the main man for Argentina with Cristian Romero in the company. Emiliano Martinez will be under the bar. On the other hand, Paraguay are coming into this match after beating Bolivia 3-1. Angel Romero would inevitably be present after scoring a brace and will be supported by Alejandro Romero.

Alberto Espinola, Gustavo Gomez, Junior Alonso and Santiago Arzamendi would also feature in an endeavour to stop the Argentines.

Meanwhile, Uruguay will depend on the pair of Edinson Cavani and Luis Suarez to pocket full points for the first time in the competition. They suffered defeat against Argentina in their opener and head coach Oscar Tabárez would leave no stone unturned to get hold of a good result.

Uruguay are likely to go with the same playing XI with Cavani and Suarez leading the pack alongside Nicolas De La Cruz. The midfield will consist mainly of Frederico Valverde and Rodrigo Bentancur. Jose Gimenez and captain Diego Godin would form the heart of the defense.

Chile, who would also look for quarterfinal confirmation, would pair their hero Ben Brereton with Eduardo Vargas. They will be followed by the superb trio of Arturo Vidal, Charles Aranguiz and Erick Pulgar. Gary Medel and Guillermo Maripan would line up in front of custodian Claudio Bravo to guard their net.
