Kolkata: Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) has announced 20 players Bengal U23 Men’s Squads both led by Shashank Singh for Siechem Multi Day and T20 Trophy 2026
The Siechem Trophy is an annual inter-state cricket tournament organized by the Cricket Association of Pondicherry (CAP) in Puducherry. It features various age groups (such as Under-19 and Under-23) as well as senior categories playing multi-day, one-day, and T20 formats as pre-season domestic preparation.
Coached by veteran Indian and Bengal wicketkeeper Batter Wriddhiman Saha, Bengal U23 team will head to Pondicherry with determined mindset to conquer and have good pre season. Many players like Shashank Singh, Shubham Singh, Sukhmeet Singh, Yudhajit Guja, Chandrahash Dash, Sumit Nag, Snehasish Saha, Syed Irfan Aftab, Priyanshu Patel, etc who have made big names with good domestic performances will feature making a strong Bengal squad in Multi Day format. In T20 format, Agniswar Das, Nuruddin Mondal will also be available subject to fitness.
The Siechem Trophy will be played from August 20 to September 5 in Multi Day format. Last year Bengal fell short by 5 wickets in final against Chhattisgarh. This year they will look to turn things around. The T20 will be from September 7 to September 14.
