Batting first, Kolkata captain Mita Paul scored unbeaten 71*(54) comprising 9 boundaries. Sanjana Kumari Das (36) also played an anchoring knock and a crucial 84 runs partnership with Mita after being 17-2.
Defending 136, Kolkata restricted Murshidabad to 121/6. Debasmita Khalsa and Trishita Sarkar picked 2 wickets each. Sushmita Paul (35) and Prativa Rana (22) did show some resistance from Murshidabad but without success.
Mita Paul was awarded Player of the match.
