KL Rahul (58*) smashed half century, accompanied by Sai Sudharsan (39) to chase down the total with ease.
Earlier in first innings, Yashasvi Jaiswal (175) & skipper Shubman Gill (129*) smashed tons, while, Sai Sudharsan (87) also played an important knock to post 518 on board.
West Indies Batting crumbled to 248 runs in front of Kuldeep Yadav (5/82) & Ravindra Jadeja (3/46).
West Indies, after being enforced follow on, replied valiantly, with John Campbell (115) & Shai Hope (103) putting respective tons to put 390 on board. Kuldeep Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah picked 3-fers.
India chased down 121 runs target losing 3 wickets in the last day with help of KL Rahul’s half century, as the Shubman Gill led side whitewashed the visitors 2-0. This was also Gill’s first test series win as Test skipper.
Kuldeep Yadav was awarded Man of the Match, while Jadeja man of the series.
